1000 first class wickets in the process

wonder if we'll ever see that again?

Jimmy Anderson - 7 ov/5 maidens - 6 wkts for 3 runs

Tidy bowling.

Do well to see a worse 10 overs of bowling than from Kent here.

Shocking.

Think some northern cunts will be winning this trophy, not seen much from any of the southern teams but you never know.

Was reading that Kyle Jamieson hit the batsmen on the helmet with the 4th ball of the over & one ball later the umpires decided conditions had deteriorated.
Cant believe they couldn't finish the over especially when finishing THAT over was so crucial

Am guessing these umpires wont be called into the England v Sri Lanka bubble for the ODI's after most of the original umpire panel there have been hit by COVID.

No doubt that cunt Batty had a word with the umpires.

Disgusting decision with one ball left.

Re: The County Cricket 2021 Thread
Surrey get a very lucky draw thanks to the umpires taking the players off for rain after 4.5 overs of the Sussex innings with Sussex ahead on DLS. Just one more ball needed, but the umps decided against it.

Probably the same news as always I would think? That he's not good enough for international cricket but is still better than half our top six?

Talking of which, any news on Sibbers being one of the hole trinity of England openers alongside Hutton and Hobbs?

Was going to ask if the new stands & whole ground was open at Lords but saw from the Middlesex website that they are selling seats in most areas. The revised Compton & Edrich look a big improvement.
Was hoping to watch them play Glamorgan on Sunday to see Lord Labuschagne bat but game is at Radlett instead.
Might pop down next week for the evening game v Sussex

Last night was the first trip to Lord's for me for 24 months.
Definitely worth the wait, fantastic finish to the game.
Lord's was looking good with the new stands. Reduced capacity is a bonus, only proper cricket nuts in the ground, no corporate dickeads on a jolly getting in the way.

In cruise control chasing 184 until we lost 5 wickets in the last 10 balls.

Another 148 by Marcus Harris for his third century and another win for Leicestershire over Gloucestershire.
Doing a 'Labuschagne' working on his red ball game in County cricket after working on his flaws with Chris Rogers.

Speaking of Labuschagne ... 44 & 63no to win a low scoring game for Glamorgan against Lancashire.

Off to a good start, beat Notts and Essex will be in a good position, hopefully

Re: The County Cricket 2021 Thread
Good to see Marcus Harris hit 185 as Leicestershire chased down 378 v Middlesex.
His second century & is the only Australian making runs with Labuschagne (Glamorgan), Bancroft (Durham), Head (Sussex) & Handscomb (Middlesex) all having very lean starts to the County season.

Test summer starts tomorrow if anyone is up for posting a thread ....
England v NZ (2 Tests)
India v NZ (World Test championship final)
England v India (5 Tests)
